Hands To War

Psalm144:1  Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight" Hands in the bible represent works. The phrase "The works of Your hands" is commonly said in the scriptures. David said the lord teach his hands to war. So in other words he was saying who teacheth my works to war. What are your works? Your work as a believer is to rest in christ finished works and praise! When you praise God he calls it works. Hebrews13:15" By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name" So when scriptures say he teacheth my hands to war he was saying he directs my praise to war!!! But war against who? You guessed right! The devil. When you praise God you war against the devil and his cohorts. The devil wants you to remain depressed, complaining, feeling that God has abandoned you. But when you praise God strength comes and the praise war against the devil. God wants you to lift up your hands and every battle you are fighting will be won. Lifting up your hands is a display of a surrendered heart. When you surrender and say lord I cannot but you can. You war against the devil. 1Timothy 2:8 " I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting." when you lift up your hands in worship you put away anger and doubt. #God bless

Blessed Be The Lord

Psalm144:1  Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight"" The lord is your strength" said by Mr victor to his first son as he goes to write exams. As Christians the phrase " The lord is your strength" is common in over conversations with one another. But do we actually know what that means? The Lord is Your strength means that the lord is your source of Hope, joy and grace. In you study psalm 144 where our anchor scripture is taken. You will find out in the latter part that david began to describe the goodness of God in his life and family. He ends the psalm by saying " Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea,happy is that people, whose God is the Lord." The lord being your strength means he is your source of power. Many people reading this now wish bill Gates was their father. They believe if he was their father most of their problems will be over. It's not about the man's personality but what he has. When you say the lord is my strength you mean what the lord has is mine and what I have is his. Most young men wish they are still in their parents house. Because their parents were their strength. And things were easy for them. Their parents cared for them, feed them and loved them. Psychologists discover that the happiest stage of a man's life is his childhood. Especially if he lived in a good home. Children have no worries when they cannot do things by themselves they simply call their mummy or daddy. But in adulthood you are on your own. So you depend on yourself. The lord is your strength means God got your back so you don't need to be afraid. Lastly Nehemiah8:10" ...for the joy of the Lord is your strength" when you say the lord you mean the lord is pleased with you. Ephesians 1:7 and 8: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" but why is God pleased with you? Because of christ obedience

The Obedience Of Christ

2 Corinthians 10:5" Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of christ" Many believers in christ today are still struggling with sin. So these believers condemn themselves and they think they have failed God. Well jesus didn't die for us so that we will still be in the same state we are in. Jesus died and rose for us so that we can live a victorious life. Scripture says a man is a product of his thinking. So when you can control your thought you can live the life you want to live. So many try to use that principle and they fail, because no one can truly control his thoughts. In our anchor scripture, it tell us to bring every thought to the obedience of christ. Notice it's not our obedience but christ obedience. Well you may ask what is exactly this christ obedience? It is christ obedience at the cross. When your mind is focused on christ obedience you become a product of it. Romans 5:19 says for by one man(christ) obedience many are made righteous. So we are to align our thoughts to christ obedience. Romans 6:14 " for sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." so sin strength is in the law. Under the law you are self conscious but under grace you are christ conscious. Under law it's how much you can please God but under grace it's how much christ obedience pleased God. The root cause of sin is found in the word middle letter S(I)N. Self(I) is the root cause of sin. When you are self conscious sin will have dominion over you. Jesus christ the son of God came to save us from sin. The solution to sin is Found in the son of God. The middle letter of the word S(O)n is the solution to sin. The (O)bedience of christ is the solution to sin. When you become christ (O)ccupied sin looses it's base in your life. So anytime you have a bad thought don't mediate on it; instead focus on how christ obedience at the cross made you righteous. Righteous by faith not by works. 2nd corinthians 5:21: " For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" #I want to give you an assignment today. Christ is In Galilee

Matthew 28:10 "Then said jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my Brethen that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me" If you are an ardent reader of newspapers you will know that we live in one of the most fearful times in history. There are threats of moral sanity, terrorism, world war and economical depression. The world is getting darker and darker. But we believers in christ are not of the world though we are in it( john17:14). So we should know what jesus is saying today not what the world is saying right? Well, What is jesus telling his bride today? What's the word for the season? Be not afraid: go tell my Brethen that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. Jesus is telling us today not to be afraid. He is telling us today to go into Galilee. And when we get there we will see him. I am sure that if you are reading this you want to see God grace, jesus in your business, finances, academics, career, family, community and even the nation right?. Well jesus told us what we must do to see him. That we must go into Galilee. Well where is Galilee? The galilee jesus is telling us today is not in Israel but in us. Galilee is when you come into the end of yourself. When jesus was on earth, there came up a dispute of where he came from after he finished preaching. The people questioned if the christ will come out of Galilee.John 7:41 "Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?" The pharisees who were seen as the doctors of the law stood up and said in john 7:52 "They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet." so they believed nothing Good can come out of Galilee. The people had no confidence that anything Good can come out of Galilee. Let me tell you quickly about some part of the history of Galilee.king Solomon gave king Hiram of Tyre twenty cities in that region (now called with the feminine name גלילה, Galilah), but Hiram didn't like them very much and people called those cities Cabul, meaning "like nothing" (1 Kings 9:11-13). So galilee was called nothing. Galilee is a state you enter when you don't have no confidence in the flesh(self efforts). It's when we have come to the end of ourselves. The world is getting darker and darker. In darkness you will see that light is important. As believers we are to let christ be our shepard. We to no longer trust in our flesh(works) but in christ. Untill we come to the end of ourselves we cannot see jesus. if you are saved by grace then grace will keep you. Not by works but by grace. Paul entered this state in his life; where he cried out and said in Romans 7:18"  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing..." And he later said in Romans 7:25 " I thank God through Jesus christ our Lord..." so he valued jesus when he came to the end of himself. we need to reach the stage where we depend solely on christ. Where we can boldly say my help comes from the lord not from man. Depend on the lord to protect, feed and direct. Jesus is telling the church today to enter galilee, where we don't have confidence in ourselves but in the lord. Where we no longer boast of our Good deeds but his grace and mercy. And when you enter galilee where you don't depend on yourself you will see christ. As for all you don't need a saviour if you can save yourself. Galilee, The verb גלל (galal I) is all about rolling; it means to roll some object on, upon or away. We need to roll our challenges to God. Christ loves everyone but he is sent to those who are poor of themselves/ empty of themselves(matthew 5:3-9, Isaiah 61:1). Still emphazing on grace, we must come into a state where we say lord I don't depend on my degree to get a job but on your grace. Where your faith is no longer in what you can do but what he can do. Remember you will only see christ in Galilee. #praise the lord

God signature

Matthew5:9"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." In the ancient times and even now in the present. When a nation conquer another nation they put up a symbol that represent their nation. In the present whenever man achieves the impossible he put up his nation flag. For instance when man first went to space. Man conquered the law of gravity and space. Neil Armstrong the first astronaut to land on the moon. He put his nation flag. So anytime man conquers he puts up a symbol to represent his nation. So in the kingdom of men, after man conquers he put up a symbol glorifying his nation. While in the kingdom of God, God gives us peace and joy before we even head to battle. He gives us victory before the battle. In the kingdom of men, they sing war songs and merry after winning a battle. while in the kingdom of heaven, we praise God before we battle. We magnify God before we battle. In the kingdom of heaven, whenever heaven support a vision. God put his signature on the project. The signature of God is peace and prosperity. Whenever God backs up a project he put his peace in the believer in christ running with the vision. And also the vision prospers. Prosperity and peace are God signature. If you study the man joseph, he had this signature in his life. Anywhere Joseph worked he had peace even though they hurt him and the works of his hands prospered. Genesis 39:3 "And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand." Potiphar an unbeliever saw that God was with Joseph because he saw God signature in Joseph life. As believers in christ we have God signature. Psalms 122:6" Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.122:7Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces." If you study Israel history you will discover that when ever the children of israel rebelled against God. Their enemies successfully invade their nation. And they end up losing their land and peace. When God is for you and with you i tell you the truth friend; You prosper and have peace. So before you make any decision in life seek the guide of the holyspirit. Check if you had peace before you signed that contract or get into that relationship. Check if you have the peace of God before making any decision no matter how little the matter seems.And also never be sacred to follow the Lord's leading. He said in Jeremiah29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." He wants the best for you. So expect the best when you obey him. As you follow his leading he will stengthen you and bless you. Psalms 29:11 "The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace." You are blessed.

The Love Of Christ part Two

John 3:35 "The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand." Paul filled with the holyghost wrote to the Galatian church in Galatians4:7"...and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." Who is a child of God? A child of God is one who has received Jesus Christ as his/her saviour, experience the new birth sealed in the holyghost. A child of God is one who just became born again and unskilled in the things and knowledge of God. A child of God is one in a tender stage in his Christian faith. Now Who is a son? A son is one who is matured in the Christian faith. A son is one holyghost filled and is skilled in the things and knowledge of God. One of the differences between a Son and a child is that a child is self centered. He/she loves attention. While a son is service oriented. If you ask a parent Why they have children they will probably give you two reasons. The first reason Is that so they can have an heir. They want their children to take over their wealth when they leave the world. Inheritance Is not limited to physical things but mental and spiritual things also. A spiritual father tells his spiritual son the secrets of his success in ministry which are revelations of Christ. That's spiritual inheritance. In the days of old as Elijah was going to heaven, Elisha received Elijah mantle( 2kings 2: 1-15) That's also an example of spiritual inheritance. A mother gives her daughter the secret recipe of her soup. That's mental inheritance. Minority groups in a country have children so they can preserve their traditions, cultures and name. The primary goal is that so they won't be forgotten. The second reason why parents want children is investment. Many parents see their children as investment for the future. They have children so that they will take care of them when they grow old. Well It's a fundamental responsibility for adults to take care of their parents. So if you reading this and you have forsaken and neglected their duties to their parents. Please make amends and take care of them. No matter how much they have hurt you in the past take of them. Even though they neglected their duties to you by not taking care of you and providing all that you needed. Take care of them and show them love. As children of love (God is love) we are to pay evil with Good. We are to pay hate with love. Back to our topic children demand while son service. Children love to beg. They are never satisfied. Paul filled with the holyghost wrote to the Galatian church not to be weak or become beggers. Galatians4:9 "But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?" Children are weak in the faith, the word of God while Sons are strong in the Faith, word of God. Children are easily deceived while sons know their right. Children compare themselves to the world while sons compare themselves to the word. So stop comparing yourself to your friends or family. Compare yourself to the word of God. What God has said concerning. Study the word of God and find out what God said concerning you. You are blessed

The Love Of Christ

John3:35 "The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand." Many believers today are disquieted because of some of their needs are not met. They feel that God doesn't love them. Well that's one of the big lies of the devil. As a believer In Christ, God has pleasure in your prosperity(psalms 35:27). God is not happy that you are complaining and grumbling. He wants to see you happy in abundance satisfied. God wants the best for you. If you study our anchor scripture Jesus said God loveth the son and hath given all things into his hand. So God manifesting his love towards Jesus was giving him all things. Well that's Good news for believers in christ because Jesus said in John 15:9 "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love." So the way God showed Jesus love Is the same way he will manifest his love to us. As a believer in christ expect to see all that you desire delivered into your hands. But there is something I want you to note in the anchor scripture. It's something many have overlooked. Do you want to know? Ok!!! Let me show you. let's reread the anchor scripture. John 3:35" The FATHER LOVETH the SON, and hath given all things into his hand." The key word there is the word "Son". God will only give everything to a son. He never delivered everything into Jesus hands when he was a child. No matter how much a father love his child he can never him his car to drive. Because he is not legally and mentally ready. Paul said in Galatians 4:1"Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all." So as long as the heir is not mature he is not different from the servants. The questions is now are who is a Son? What does it mean to be a son? how do I become a son or daughter? All that and more will be answered and explained in the part two of this article.

The Right Hand

It's an African custom for Africans to give the elderly anything by the right hand. It's a sign of respect. If you don't give by the right hand they won't collect it. If people can apply this principle in collecting other things in their life. Their lives will be alot better. If people won't collect bribe. And they only collect things from others the right way. They get their money the right way, corruption will reduce. In Africa, When you give by the right hand it shows you want to give, so the person knows you want to give cheerfully. But when you give by the left you give little and it shows you don't want to give. God gives us with his right hand. So don't ever think God gives evil things like sickness, death or anyother evil thing. So never be scared to ask God for the best. The bible says James1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." So never say God is teaching you a lesson with sickness, proverty, accident or any other evil thing. James made that clear to his fellow brothers in the faith who were facing persecution. Know that only the best comes from God, while the worst is from the devil. So come to your father in heaven boldly knowing he loves You and wants to give you cheerfully. Jesus Christ taught on this subject, He said in Matthew 7:9 "Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" If God loves cheerful givers why will he be opposite of what he wants us to be. So never be sacred to ask God for God things. Know this; God is for you, with you and in you. Jesus Christ wants the best for you.

Redeemed To Reign

Revelation1:6 "And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." Who died and made you King(An high position)” is a common put-down of a person who usually doesn’t have that high position, but who aspires to it. Well jesus did. Jesus christ died not only to save us from the wrath of God. But also to make us kings. He died so you can reign in your finances, school, office, home, neighbourhood and anywhere you find yourself. He wants you to be in authority. To be above your challenges. If you study the man joseph. Joseph reigned in every where he found himself. Joseph had the right to selfpity. He was betrayed by his brothers, lied against by potiphar wife anld tossed in prison. But he knew that there is no remedy in selfpity. He knew that anyone under defeat is in a pit. Anyone who loves selfPITy is in a pit. And any one in a pit cannot shine. So say no to selfpity today because YOU ARE REDEEMED TO REIGN. Murmuring and blaming is the language of a slave not a king. God wants you to REIGN. Joseph reigned in potiphar house( Genesis39: 5-6) and even in the prison (Genesis39:22) Write this in your heart by continuously meditating on it; I AM REDEEMED TO REIGN. Matthew18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Jesus has given us power to bind evil spirits and loose others from the hands of the enemy. In redemption lies divine dominion. Revelation5:9 "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation." Joseph secret of dominon is clearly stated in scriptures. Genesis39:23"...because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper." It was because God was with him that entitled him to REIGN. The blood of jesus has reconciled us with God. The blood of Jesus christ has the power to wash away any sin no matter how big and evil. No matter how evil you may seem the blood of jesus can make you brand new. Hallelujah!!! The blood of jesus Christ has made us worthy to operate in divine dominion. You are REDEEMED to REIGN.

A Foundation For The New Year

Isaiah28:16 "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste". It's a new year. It's now a custom for people to start making new year resolutions. And as always they don't do any why? you may ask Because you cannot be a better person by selfeffort but by grace. In our anchor scripture God said he has laid a solid cornerstone, a foundation before us. A foundation in which we can build our lives this year. Jesus is the chief corner stone. Ephesians2:20 "...Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone". This is a foundation in which we are to build our lives on. God gave us a choice whether to build it on this stone or selfeffort. God won't force you to choose christ. He made a promise in Romans 9:33 "As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed". Whoever builds their life on this rock will never be ashame. So if you don't want to see Shame in 2016 build your life on Christ. Many reject this stone but at the end they find out without him they can do nothing. Luke 20:17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?" Many believers worldwide want to experience the glory of God this year. Amen to that. If you must see God glory this year. You must stand on the rock like he told moses. Exodus 33:21 "And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock. 22: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by.23: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen". If you must see God glory in your finances, academics, ministry, business and everything else. You must stand on the rock. You might ask how do I stand on the rock? How do i build my life on christ? You must believe on him for EVERYTHING no matter how little. You must believe in his grace. You build your life on christ by believing on him, you believe in his finished works. You believe he wants the best for you. And expect Good things this year because he will supply his grace. Christ the rock Romans 9:32 "Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone". This is the year of his Grace not your works. Faith is your leg to stand on the rock. The best resolution you can make this year is to believe in christ, believe in his finished works. You must make up your mind and prepare your heart to obey the word of God. To obey the word of God, to love without compromise. And as you are determine to obey God word by his grace. He will make your way prosperous. #Happy New year
